About
TSUKUDA HIROKI,
Born in 1978 in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. After graduating from the Department of Imaging Arts and Sciences at Musashino Art University, He worked in graphic design based in Tokyo. And in 2005, He joined the contemporary art gallery NANZUKA, marking the beginning of his career as an artist. His large-scale work, presented in 2017, was acquired by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, earning his international recognition. He held a solo exhibition, Monolog in the Doom, at the Gunma Prefectural Museum of Modern Art in 2019. In March 2022, just before the lockdown, He presented a solo exhibition, They Live, at Petzel in New York. In July 2023, he held another solo exhibition, The Darkest Hour, at NANZUKA.
